Through this pandemic, Recover Health has kept the staff and client at the center of planning. Everything put into place was for the safety and well-being of staff and clients. We have developed a strong Emergency Preparedness Plan that is driven by Infection Control. We have required that all staff participates in additional Infection Control Training. We developed a Respiratory Program that requires a medical evaluation and fit testing to use N95s for COVID-19 positive clients. We completed competency testing for PPE with nurses and will be requiring it of all staff. We will also be starting a process to competency test nurses for COVID testing with a nasopharyngeal swab to test clients and staff. We are actively tracking and replacing PPE needed for all staff. We require client screening before entering the home, and we will be implementing the required screening for staff as part of the Return to Work process. We have a communication process in place to update the entire company through a Town Hall Process, and we ask and answer concerns or questions at that time.
