Mission & Philosophy
Our mission is to create relationships that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Recover Health is a company of caring individuals with compatible values, whose drive and desire are to be part of something greater than themselves. It is our vision to recruit and retain only those individuals who are inspired by the same beliefs and values, and who intend to sustain relationships that make a difference in the lives of those we take care of, work with, and encounter in our business activities.
Guiding Principles

Recover’s Guiding Principles are a set of commitments and beliefs that guide clinical practice, decision making, staff performance, and business strategy.

We are committed to:

  • Bringing leadership to home care and integrity to business in every community we serve and in every way we operate.
  • Building the cornerstones of our business on a strong foundation of service to
    others.
  • Maintaining a company culture that encourages entrepreneurial spirit, shares its success, and values each individual’s contribution.
  • Leading by example and creating a highly ethical environment, attracting staff who deal honestly in every transaction and respond honorably in every interaction.
  • Making decisions that support the client’s welfare and are financially responsible for the organization.

We believe in:

  • Using candid, respectful communication, promoting consistency in word and action, and supporting individuals to say what they mean and mean what they say.
  • Listening and responding to the voices of customers and co-workers.
  • Making a difference together using skill, hard work, and an affinity for learning, laughter, and goodwill.
  • Sharing a sense of purpose with professionals and paraprofessionals who are talented, competent, and love what they do.
Partnerships

“Our goal is to help individuals age successfully in their homes. One of the ways we are achieving our goal is by building unique partnerships with health care providers. This creates the opportunity for coordination of services and allowing all to give greater care to our clients.” Greg Von Arx, CEO

ICARE

ICARE is Recover Health's roadmap to living out our mission on a daily basis.

Our Recover at Home Program Reduces Hospital Readmissions

As a leader in post-acute care, Recover Health has developed a strategic approach to reducing hospital readmissions. Recover at Home is an evidence-based program that utilizes best practices to keep patients at home following a hospital discharge.

  • pharmacist providing home health care services

    Comprehensive Medication Review

Recover Health offers a Comprehensive Medication Review of a client’s prescriptions and over the counter medications. During this review, our pharmacy team will assess medications for potential side effects and interactions. As a result of this unique service, Recover Health clients who receive a Comprehensive Medication Review, have seen a 58% decrease in hospitalizations.

  • physical therapist providing home health care services

    Confident Steps

The components of our Confident Steps Fall Prevention Program include a Home Safety Evaluation, Education, and access to a Recover Health Pharmacist. Each member of the home care team is highly trained on the program.

  • Client Centered Care

Our client centered care model revolves around supporting our clients in reaching their individual healthcare goals by:

    • Developing a customized Self-Management Plan
    • Educating on early warning signs & symptoms to prevent re-hospitalization
  • two home care team members discussing paperwork

    Transition of Care

Recover Health's discharge planning facilitates a seamless transition home, including:

    •  Client consultation prior to discharge
    •  Recover Health Welcome Packet
  • elderly woman learning about home health care services

    Clinical Interventions

To meet our client's goals, our team utilizes the following interventions:
